
VIETNAMESE AMERICAN
BROADCASTING COMMUNICATIONS, INC
Established
in 1996, VABC provides multiple ethnic programming to the International
Channel, KCET-PBS, KOCE, NBC, CBS, and KSCI.
VABC exists to provide a vital source of communication, news, entertainment
between the Vietnamese American community and the American mainstream.
Programs
produced by VABC have been broadcasted on multiple channels, including local,
cable, and Direct-TV, which has positioned VABC as a leading provider of high
quality television programming to the Vietnamese community locally, nationally,
and internationally.
In 2000,
VABC expanded by adding another department specialize in producing documentary about
the history of South East Asia and the life of Vietnamese both in and outside
of Vietnam. Released documentary films

currently, VABC is working on a major production about the history of Vietnam
War from 1945 to 1975 told by the Vietnamese.
This documentary includes 6 volumes and expected to be completed by
April 30, 2008.
