VABC President
Binh Le
is an M.F.A Cum Laude Graduate from the school of Communication and Television
Production of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He has produced and hosted
more than 2000 news stories and reports for the International Channel and
KSCI-TV that reaches over 500,000 Vietnamese viewers per day and 8 million
households nationally. In 1998, he was
rated one of the best Asian American journalist by the National Digital
Television Center in Los Angeles and was recognized by the US Congress for his
contribution and service to the Vietnamese American community through the mean
of mass media. In 1999, he became the News Editor Manager for the Asian
American News Department at AT&T Digital Media Center in Los Angeles and
also served as an Associate Professor of Communication Arts at the Union
College of California.
In 2000,
Binh Le was elected as the president of VABC Inc. (Vietnamese American
Broadcasting Communications, Inc.) specialized in producing Asian American
quality programming for television and documentaries. In the last decade, he has produced more than 20 feature
documentaries and has been nominated for numerous awards both nationally and
internationally. His goal is to create
a media organization that bridging the ethnic communities with American
mainstream.
