     On December 25, 2005, Christmas day.  In the morning we went to Pacific’s The Grove at the corner of 3rd and Fairfax in Los Angeles to buy 2 tickets for the 4:30PM showtime of King Kong.  The previous week we went to this Theater and ArchLight in Hollywood in the afternoon.  However, all the tickets were sold out and the earliest time available for the next show of King Kong was a 10:50PM.

 

     King Kong is the title of the 1933 film produced by Merian Cooper and Ernest Schoedsack.  It tells the story of  a group of film makers who travel to the mysterious Skull Island to make a motion picture.  Once there, they find a giant gorilla named King Kong. 

 

     Troubles come when the natives capture the crew’s leading lady as a sacrifice to the monster, King Kong.  The explorers fight against the ape and  his dinosaur enemies.  They capture the gorilla and bring him to New York as a public exhibit.  King Kong escapes his captors and is killed atop the Empire State Building.

 

     King Kong and the aggressive dinosaurs were realized through the use of a special photographic process known as Stop Motion employed by the pioneer in this technique Willis O’Brien.

 

     He photographed miniature models of Kong and the dinosaurs exposing one frame of film at a time and repositioning the model between frames so that when played in succession the models appear to move on their own.  Sculptor Marcel Delgago constructed the Kong and dinosaur models using metal armatures or skeletons with ball-and-socket joints.  Then he covered them with rubber muscles and a skin of pruned rabbit fur.

 

     Special techniques such as rear-projection allowed Kong to appear in the same frame with actual footage of the actress while in other shots she was played by a small animation model.  Besides the animation models, they built a life-sized hand of the gorilla for shots of him holding the beauty and a life-sized bust of the beast for scenes of him chewing Skull Islanders or New Yorkers.

 

     The Director of the 2005 King Kong is Peter Jackson, a three-time Academy Award winner.  Peter and hist cast were born long after the 1933 King Kong had shown.  Peter Jackson (born in 1961 in New Zealand), Naomi Watts (1968 in England), Jack Black (1969 in the US), Adrian Body (1973 in New York), and Andy Serkis (born 1964 in England).   The release date was December 14, 2005.  The production company:  Universal Studios / Wingnut Films. It’s rated PG-13 with 187 minutes running time.

 

     The 2005 King Kong is an excellent action and adventure, science fiction, romance, fantasy, and drama film.  It costs  $200 million to produce.

     Ngay Giang Sinh 25 thang 12 nam 2005.  Buoi sang chung toi den Pacific”s The Grove goc duong so 3 va Fairfax o Los Angeles mua 2 ve de xem phim King Kong chieu  vao 4 gio 30 phut chieu.  Tuan le truoc chung toi den rap hat nay va Archlight o Hollywood vao bieu chieu.  Tuy nhien ca hai noi ve da ban het va mai den xuat luc 10 gio 50 phut moi co ve.  Tham nghi neu minh vao coi thi luc ra cung 2 gio sang nen chung toi danh bo ve.

 

     King Kong la tua de cua phim nam 1933 do Merian Cooper va Ernest Schoedsack lam dao dien.  Chuyen ke mot nhom nguoi lam phim di toi dao Skull huyen bi de lam phim.  Khi toi do, ho thay mot con duoi uoi khong lo dat ten la King Kong.

 

     Phien nhieu xay ra khi dan ban xu bat nguoi phu nu huong dan phai doan de dang cho con quai vat King Kong.  Nhung nguoi mao hiem chien dau chong lai con duoi uoi va cac khung long la ke thu cua King Kong.  Ho bat duoc con vat va dem ve Nuu Uoc de trinh dien.  King Kong tron khoi cac nguoi bat va bi giet tren dinh cao oc Empire State Building.

 

     King Kong va nhung con khung long hung du duoc tao ra bang cach dung mot xuc tien ky thuat nhiep anh dac biet ma nguoi tien phong ap dung la Willis O’Brien.

 

     Ong ta chup hinh nhung mau nho cua King Kong va khung long, chieu tung khung mot va de nguoi dien vien giua nhung khung de khi chieu nhung mau nho trong nhu tu di chuyen.  Dieu khac gia Marcel Delgado tao ra King Kong va  nhung khung long  bang cach dung  kim loai hay xuong voi nhung qua bong hay hop rong noi voi nhau.  Roi ong dung bap thit cao su va long tho phu len.

 

     Nhung ky thuat dac biet nhu chieu phia sau lam King Kong co trong khung voi hinh that cua nu dien vien trong khi o cac khung khac co ta la mau tuong nho.  Ngoai nhung mau tuong nho tao ra, ho lam mot ban tay bu cua King Kong cho nhung hinh chup cam nguoi dep va tao dung mot King Kong khong lo cho nhung canh anh ta an nhung dan dao Skull hoac nhung nguoi Nuu Uoc.

 

     Dao dien cua phim King Kong 2005 la Peter Jackson, nguoi ba lan duoc trao giai Academy.  Peter va cac dien vien trong phim King Kong 2005 con rat tre.  Peter Jackson sanh nam 1961 o Tan Tay Lan, Naomi Watts 1968 o Anh Quoc, Jack Black 1969 o Hoa Ky, Adrian Body o Nuu Uoc nam 1973 va Andy Serkis o Anh Quoc nam 1964.  Ngay trinh chieu dau tien la 14 thang 12 nam 2005.  Cong ty san xuat:  Universal Studios / Wingnut Films.  Phim dai 187 phut va duoc xep loai PG-13.
