contributions to our society:
NAM PHAN On Saturday October 6. 2007, Nam Phan made a
headline in the sports world. After one
minute and 11 seconds in the first round, Nam Phan knocked down Shad Smith at
the Anaheim Convention Center.

continued efforts create an impressive record 13 – 4 - 0 (Win – Loss –
Draw).

Grand Master Ha Quoc Huy is his
Vietnamese martial arts teacher. In
addition, Nam Phan took training in judo, jujitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, and
wrestling. Grand Master Bac Phong Tu Vo

Greg Savage of www.sherdog.com had an interview with Nam
Phan after his impressive TKO of Shad Smith.
Asked his opinions on the tremendous support he received prior to the
fight, Nam Phan smiled broadly: “There
were ladies singing Vietnamese anthem.
I cried. I got to win this one,
especially back in my hometown.”
On October 11, 2007, Nam Phan stopped at
Viet Bao www.vietbao.com to respectfully
thank the Vietnamese community for the enthusiastic support. Together with Nam Phan, there were Tam Phan

ALLEN CLARENCE HASSAN, MD,
JD, DVM
Dr. Hassan is a physician, a
surgeon, an attorney and an educator.
In 1968 he was one of about two hundred US doctors who volunteered to
provide health care for the civilian population in South Vietnam, sponsored by
the American Medical Association.
In his book FAILURE TO ATONE – The
True Story of a Jungle Surgeon in Vietnam, he wrote: “Until the Volunteer Physicians in Vietnam
program was terminated in June1973, it needed thirty-two doctors to volunteer
every two months. Many American doctors
responded. Altogether, some 774
physicians served unpaid, two-month tours of duty in Vietnam, given only per
diem expenses of $10 per day and $50,000 insurance policies. I am proud to be counted among the doctors
who volunteered for the Volunteer Physicians for Vietnam, and one of about seventeen percent who returned
to Vietnam for a second tour. In the
process of preparing this book, I wrote other doctors who volunteered, and
several were kind enough to respond with insightful comments which are
excerpted in these chapters, and printed in full in the last chapter of this
book.”
FAILURE TO ATONE is a 272-page
book with 22 chapters. The last chapter
is a list of men and women served in the American Medical Association’s
Volunteer Physician for Vietnam program which began in in July 1966 and
continued through June 1973. Dr.
Hassan’s research indicates that many physicians served two tours of duty, and
some doctors returned to Vietnam for as many as eight tours. Altogether. 774 US-licensed doctors served
1,029 tours as volunteer doctors in Vietnam.
Vietnam War has been the subject of
debate for many people around the world.
On October 26, 1967, John McCain’s A-4
Skyhawk was shot down near Hanoi, North Vietnam. He was released finally from captivity in 1973.
On October 16, 1999, U.S. Senator John
McCain emphasized his views with television host Larry King:
We went to Vietnam with good intentions. The Vietnamese people liked us.
They never liked the French because they were a colonial power, trying
to hold on to their Indochina Empire.
The Russians were never liked because they came in after we left and
were seen as a dominant imperialist colonial power. The Americans are liked to this day. When you go back to
Vietnam, the Vietnamese always say, “America Number One.” Yet they still despise the Russians and the
French. So to this day Americans are
still liked.
The reason for this is they felt the
Americans came there to help their country, unlike the French and Russians who
were trying to exploit their country.
This shows the innate intelligence of the Vietnamese, understanding the
difference, but knowing it was still important to unite their country (quote from page 195 in FAILURE TO ATONE)
In 1966, the controversial Muhammad Ali
said: “I ain’t got no quarrel with them
Viet Cong…They never called me nigger.”
He is a retired American boxer and former three-time World Heavyweight
Champion and winner of an Olympic Light-heavyweight gold medal. Ali was crowned “Sportsman of the Century”
in 1999 by Sports Illustrated and the
BBC.
In 1999, Dr. Hassan returned to Vietnam
as a visitor, one year after the United States had established diplomatic
relations with Vietnam. After being on
more trips back to Vietnam, he confides:
“During my two years of war-torn Vietnam, for medical and humanitarian
service, I grew up to love the country and its people. I missed Vietnam. I missed its wonderful people.
I had somehow become lost, and then found myself again in tragically
beautiful Vietnam.”
We recommend highly to all of you FAILURE

PROFESSOR JIM MARRS Last but not least is Professor Jim

In addition, he has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, C-SPAN, along with
numerous national radio and TV shows.
We would like to quote his e-mail to us
on Wednesday April 26, 2006 in response to our questions to him on Remote
Viewing and faith healing:
“Since I discovered Remote
Viewing in the early 1990s, my thoughts on this psychic phenomenon have
changed. I was highly skeptical when I
first learned of people looking at people, places and things at a great
distance with only their mind. But
after researching the subject, interviewing many of the military-trained Remote
Viewers and then trying it for myself, I can assure you this mental technology
is quite real. This is why the U.S.
Government, first with the CIA and later through the U.S. Army and NSA, funded
a Remote Viewing program through four separate administrations, both Democrat
and Republican.
I can also assure you that, despite the
claim that the Government no longer is interested in Remote Viewing, there are
individuals within several government agencies still practicing this
craft. The remarkable thing about
Remote Viewing is that long-lasting scientific experiementation has proved that
this ability is inherent in everyone and is not limited by time or space. There has been successful Remote Viewing of
other planets which was later confirmed by deep space probes.
I am also not so skeptical regarding faith healing since many recent studies have proven that people who think positively or are prayed over, heal much quicker than those who do not experience this. The power of the human mind is almost limitless and we have only just begun to realize its potential Of course, like everything else in life, there has to be balance. Wishing away your headache is nice but an aspirin can also help.”
His latest book The Terror
Consipacy is a detailed analysis of
9/11. Previous books: Inside Job, The War On Freedom,
Psi Spies, Rule by Secrecy…are
all first class research. We recommend
all of his books to our viewers.
