MC is the abbreviation for Master of
Ceremonies and MD is Doctor of Medicine. On Saturday January 27, 2007, Dr. Vu Quang Ban is more famous for
his excellent MC role in the wedding of Le Huu Phuong and Nguyen Phuong Dung.

Among Vietnamese celebrities, Dr. Ban is known as
a philanthropist and sensational singer.
He is the President of Long Khanh Friendship Association. The previous President was Colonel Bui Duc
Diem, Chief Of Staff of Binh Long Battle and one time was Provincial Chief of
Long Khanh.
Dr. Vu Quang Ban was an Armed Forces Medical Captain in Long Khanh
Province and was associated with Phuoc Thien Hospital before 1975. He immigrated in the State of Arkansas to
further his education. After receiving
his American MD degree, Dr. Ban settled in California and has a very successful
practice.
Dr. Ban is a US Public Health physician. He has been with Ross-Loos Medical Group, INA and Fountain Valley
as well as Garden Grove Hospitals.
Being a family physician, he treats allergy and sinus (ear, nose and
throat), diabetes, arthritis, stomach…
Last but not least, he is also the leader of the flamboyant and
well-known Phuong Hoang Music Band. This group is very popular for
entertainment at meetings, anniversaries, weddings and private parties. The MC Vu
Quang Ban, MD sang the song The First Spring (Mua Xuan Dau Tien) gaining
applause at length from the guests at the wedding of Phuong and Dung.
