I love people who fight against the odds and win. One exceptional Attorney At Law who has fought vigorously for us and become victorious is William M. Ramseyer.

Three months ago, one of our tenants continued creating nuisance on the premises. With notices had sent from the Housing Department inspector warning us of accumulation of refuse, debris and discarded items around the unit of Mr. A. In addition, there were emphases on his repair on vehicles and oil leaks from these works.

The inspector mentions sections 12.21.A.8(a) and 12.21.A.8(b) L.A.M.C. and 17920.3(c)H.&S.C. concerning this. In response to the notice, I told Mr. A several times, both verbally and in writing, to keep the surrounding clean and neat as well as not to repair the vehicles in front of the unit.

He did not take my words seriously. Mr. A. kept on accumulating of trash around the unit and repairing vehicles with oil leaks all over the area.

I had no alternative but tried to locate an attorney to evict Mr. A. We contacted the Law Firm of Dennis P. Block in Los Angeles, close to our home. He was at the Seminar of Apartment Owners Association every year and we were impressed by his thorough explanation of different cases on Landlord – Tenant dispute. Surprisingly, he said the only thing he could do is to write a letter to the Tenant asking him to correct the situation. If the situation is corrected within 3 days, nothing his office will be able to do further. Should we have further question, please make an appointment for consultation, one hour is….

Some years ago, we retained Mr. Ramseyer for an eviction and he was successful with the case. He is in Pasadena, a little bit far away from our home. Mr. Ramseyer was cordial and eager to take the case.

We obtain the Court Judgment for eviction of Mr. A after a long day trial. I was so happy when we heard of the Court order.
